This document proposes the design of a novel low speed wind turbine for rural electrification in India. It aims to study different wind concentrator designs and simulate a proposed Venturi concentrator called AshVer to determine if it performs better than existing concentrator designs. The objectives are to analyze the AshVer's point of maximum power tracking, calculate its power output, and compare it to other concentrator designs through MATLAB simulation and ANSYS analysis. The expected outcomes are that the turbine could efficiently harness wind energy in low wind speed areas, reduce carbon footprints, and provide standalone power systems for unelectrified villages.
