- 1. Machine Learning Scientist JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a senior engineer that will help us take our SIEM product to the next level. Among other challenges, we are facing the need to effectively and efficiently implement high scale Machine Learning algorithms that are developed together with our data scientists onto our SIEM platform. This task requites deep analytical thinking alongside the desire to build a generic, flexible and Enterprise quality platform. The candidate has to be an expert in big-data technologies with proven analytical abilities focusing on algorithmic and data-structures implementations. This position will serve as a core role in the Machine Learning development team and is expected to work closely with the main peer group, the Big-Data Infrastructure and application team, which defines and implements the UBA platform itself. Candidates should have a strong desire to work in an unstructured, fast moving startup environment. We want people to join our team who are generally excited about the problems we're solving and who want to join a growing team with responsibilities that have real potential to expand quickly and dramatically over time. Experience and Skills At least 5 year experience as a hands-on developer (Java experience is a must but versatility is desired). At least 3 year experience in hands-on development focused on big-data technologies and methodologies such as: Hadoop, Spark, Storm, Samza, Spark Streaming, Kafka, Flume, MapReduce, Scalding, Hbase, MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Solr, Spark Mlib, Algebird, Spark Graphx. At least 3 year experience in hands-on development focused on Machine Learning Algorithms and methodologies such as: K-means algorithm,
- 2. Fuzzy clustering, DBSCAN, OPTICS algorithm, Self-organizing map, Unsupervised learning algorithms etc.. Perform in-depth analysis of information from multiple data sources SQL knowledge Strong quantitative and problem solving skills Security background (SIEM etc) Experience with Javascript and XML Proven experience being a major contributor in defining, designing, and implementing big-data algorithms and/or highly complex algorithms in genera. Proven experience in developing scalable and highly available big data Enterprise solutions. Big picture thinker and a technology enthusiastic with passion for developing and releasing high-quality products. Desire and ability to provide passive technological leadership mentoring new talent in big-data technologies. Positive approach to life, huge motivation to win, flexibility, and egoless team player. Great communication skills both orally and written with team members, peers and upper management. At least a B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
