their individual wars.
 Karna : To prove his mantle against
Arjuna.
 Pandavas : One team. One goal. Pandavas
worked towards a common goal.

STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP
Krishna teaches Pandavas to make strategies.
Krishna strategically headed Pandavas’ divisions
of the army in such a way that they fight against
the Kauravas’ army to win.
Related to
Management
Strategy is necessary to adopt in the organisation
to handle the tactical situation and leader is
required to direct the group of people to achieve
the common objective.
Choose resources wisely
In Mahabharata, both Pandavas and Kauravas
had the option to choose Krishna for their
team. But displaying complete lack of vision
and acumen, Kauravas selected Krishna’s
army, and hence lost the war.
A good manager is one who has an eye
for talent. They must engage the right
people at the right places.
Killed all the 100 Kauravas alone with his strength.
Bheem
Killed 2 sons of Karan, the dearest friend of
Duryodhan.
Nakul
Killed 40 brothers of Duryodhana, and killed
Shakuni.
Sahadev
A great warrior and the best archer of the world and he
killed Bhishma, Jaydrath, and many other fighters of
Kauravas.
Arjun
Division of work
It is important to give the right work to the employees
according to their skills and talent.
Diplomacy is
important for the
management
DIPLOMACY
The Pandavas played a trick by spreading the rumor
that Ashvathama had died. Since Dronacharya was very
intelligent, he sensed the trick and therefore decided to ask
Yudhishthir because Yudhishthir was the most righteous among
all the Pandavas who was determined to not speak a lie ever in
his life.
Diplomacy plays an important role in getting products
sold. It is an important part of marketing communication and
influencing customers through advertisements.
Motivation is key to success
Motivation is the driving force that drives
you to accomplish goals and it’s necessary for
all types of success.
Just before starting the war,
Arjuna denied killing their relatives.
Lord Krishna stood up and motivated
him.

Focus should be
on particular
thing and other
distraction should
be avoided
In gurukul learning both pandavas and
Kauravas were guided by Dronacharya. Guru gave
task to hit the bird in the tree.
Before performing the task guru asked everyone,
what you can see?
Everybody had some answer.
Guru stopped everyone to do the task
He asked same question to ARJUNA
Arjuna replied with full confidence, I can see the
bird’s eye Gurudeva.
Dronacharya gave permission to hit the
bird eyes and Arjuna exactly hit the bird’s eyes.
 The corporate world is one of the best places where the
ethics from the epic can be easily applied.
 Mahabharata is the perfect guide for managing business
relationships or achieving goals.
 Mahabharata is a great source of knowledge and
management lessons.
