Stay within the rules – but just! • Never let a good crisis go to waste. Use them as the basis for innovation and change. • The future is not a straight line from the past – so bend the line often. • Make your expectations clear and then empower and engage and let the team do the work. Think not distributed leadership, but renaissance leadership everywhere – students, teachers, administration. • If in doubt, trust your instincts – the brain can often get in the way. • Less is more.
