Question Tag is often mentioned as affirming question.
short questions (a linking verb "be" / auxiliary + / - not + pronoun)
were added at the end of a sentence to ask for information or for approving.

Question Tags generally serves to request confirmation from listeners
about something that has not been so convincing speaker or can be said
to seek approval from the audience spoken statement.
