- 1. Front Cover of Magazine The title – It has the effect of lightning bolts at the end of the letter L to try give the title a different edge, to make it look like the magazine has power The separation lines – This is mainly used to separate the different sections to make it look a bit cleaner The font styles – A mixture all around the page, mainly going for an electronic look in the font Colours – Colours are ideas generated from research i.e. OurHouse magazine and from my school magazine project Angle and style of “Monochrome” title – This is to try add more angles similar to the ones generated by the actors and props in the image. The colour red was used as both actors wore partly red clothing and I wanted to create a similarity between that and their title

Contents Page of Magazine Positioning of titles and headlines underneath them – The style in which the titles and headlines are laid out give a progressing slope down leading towards the bottom right hand corner, trying to make the reader lead on through the magazine The bar at the bottom – This idea was similar to the one used in Kerrang! Magazine, listing different artists used in the magazine to try make the audience more broad Colours – More use of the green colour similar to OurHouse Magazine Lettering around feature image – Trying to frame the image and to make sure all the references to the band are used to try make the reader interested in this new band and article Page number – Bold page number in similar green for continuity

DPS of Magazine Image – Use of keyboards like in the other images to create a continual idea and ident for the band Background – Use of a sloping gradient similar to the front cover but with a slight texture added to give a different feel to this, adding to the idea of a new band with a different edge/take on electronic music Layout of text – I tried to match the idea of continual text but in set areas/columns as it is used in other popular magazines CD Cover – I took an image of a brick wall, created the character image using PaintShopPro7 and Photoshop and added the titles to this image so that fans could have another visual idea to what the band represented to music Overall – In this I've tried to give an impression of background story, new interest followed by a Q+A session, along with images to help with the reader's interpretation of the band
