The number that appears indicates the select order in which items will be cut or pasted

How can I prevent posting to closed periods or ?closed fiscal years Can I limit who can override the period? • Hard Close feature found in GL Setup • Select “Allow Posting to closed fiscal periods” to allow entry of ,batches to any period regardless of the fiscal year • Select “Prevent posting to prior fiscal years” to restrict entry of batches to current or future fiscal years • :Note Must release all open batches from prior periods before un‐checking option “Allow post to closed fiscal periods” • You can give individuals rights to override this restriction by giving users Initialize rights to the batch entry screens :Financial Tips Hard Close feature New in SL 2011 FP1
