Mind Mapping & Learning
Techniques Workshop
A proposal
Mind mapping proposal by artworkshop, for Students
“Cognitive Principles for optimizing learning”.
Based on this, we created Mind Mapping Tools for
successful learning. We follow the methods of Mind
Mapping Techniques by Tony Buzan, who is the inventor of
latest Technology in M.Mapping.
We re-worked and formulated our own methodology in
teaching mind mapping to the Students, according to the
curriculum and the grade of students, as an effective
learning tool.
What is Mind Mapping?
“Success in Education comes with a combination of
many different elements that should be fine tuned to
focus on a specific way.”
What we can use Mind Maps for?
Mind Mapping can be successfully used for setting of Goals
in one’s life.
You can create short term goals and long term goals. Both
Goals can be linked through reviewing the progress through
Mind Mapping and implementing your Goals.
Since it is an activity that is both analytical and artistic, it
engages your brain much, much richer way.
Helping in all its cognitive functions. And, best of all, it is fun!
•Note taking
•Brain storming (individually or in groups)
•Problem solving
•Studying and Memorization
•Better understanding of the subjects
•Presenting exact information
•Gaining insight on complex subjects
•It is more Creativity and fun
Technologies/know-how
A Mind Map uses words, lines, codes, logics, images,
colors and even sounds to stimulate your brain.
It has four important characteristics:
The subject is represented by a Central image
The main themes of the subject radiate from the Central
image as branches.
Minor themes are linked to the main theme.
All the branches are connected forming a nodal structure.
We use Mind Map techniques to teach Students to accomplish many
curriculums based projects.
We use it for educational purposes. Most of the theories, some of the
complicated Subjects can be easily explained through Mind Mapping.
Students’ can grasp the core points easily and store it in their minds.
Mind mapping can be successfully utilized in the Teaching profession
also.
By presenting the Course materials and planning Study strategy, you
can create Study plans (chart) on a larger format.
Student’s and Teacher’s guide to
Mind Mapping.
Student’s and Teacher’s guide to
Mind Mapping.
Every brain is wired differently: The modified method as how
we could arrive has the flexibility and adaptability to be
customized. Through our method, an art experienced student
can do the mind mapping in a more artistic way. A technical
mind student can do it in a graphical way. An ordinary/average
student can do it in a way it’s interesting to him/her. We believe
in understanding the student’s awareness of their level of
comprehending the subjects. So, our mind mapping
methodology is “How to get the most out of studies in your
own way”.
Why this Course ?
The Benefits of Mind Mapping:
1.Creates the intention and desire to learn
2.Helps in the deep and appropriate processing of critical
subjects
3.Learning on any one’s own way, matching an individual
learning style
4.Minimizes distractions and maximizes focus
5.Makes one think and explore further ideas while studying
6.Practicing retrieval of information and application
Use the Mind Mapping Techniques whatever way
you want-crazy, ridiculous, unusual, extraordinary,
animated methods, after all, these are the things
that get remembered, aren’t they? The purpose of
using the mind mapping would be an easy and fun
filled way of learning. The only rule is: don’t make it
boring, compulsive and tiring, it doesn’t work.
So, Start using our Mind Mapping Techniques-One
small step can change your LIFE
