- 1. Media Makeup Fashion Face paint Film Inspired Natural Animation For fashion photography I would do extreme make up and follow the conventions of fashion photography, which already exists. I would consider costume in addition to this, as with fashion it is an important aspect. Material I would create animations of the process of applying various make up, almost as a timeline showing the before and after I would do a shoot of natural face as it contrasts against my project slightly as it is based on make up so I think it would be good to show the opposite. I would look at different films which have characters which are quite distinctive, for example, the joker or two face. I would try my best to recreate them, which I would perfect with practice. I would use face paint to recreate popular face paintings, for example, day of the dead, lions, butterflies. I think it breaks up the consistency of just make up the whole way through my project, and technically I’m still using cosmetics to create a character. I will use material such as sequins, glitter, wax etc, to create a 3d effect in my photos as it will be 3d make up. It will introduce more bright colors in my work also.
