This document presents a research study on optimizing modified discrete cosine transform (m-DCT) based audio watermarking using a genetic algorithm to enhance imperceptibility and robustness against copyright infringement. The study details the methodologies of embedding and extracting watermarks in audio files, ensuring that embedded data are undetectable to human senses but robust against various types of attacks. The results demonstrate an average signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 20 dB and a mean opinion score (MOS) of 4.22, confirming the effectiveness of the proposed watermarking method.
