- 8. Account Management / SLS / Online Ordering Account Management Monro have a team of Sales Managers supported by experienced Account Managers. Sales Managers are the main contact with overall responsibility for the account. Your Account Manager will ensure the smooth day to day running of your account, liaising directly with all parties involved to safeguard production, shipping and delivery of your products. Weekly, bi-weekly or monthly reporting is available detailing all actions on your products. Each report is tailored to your specific requirement. SLA As with all of Monro’s major clients, we agree a Service Level Agreement (SLA) detailing each product, packing information, anticipated usage, expected stock holding, pricing and delivery requirements. Clear and detailed escalation procedures are included to indicate actions to be taken in the unlikely event of a breach in the agreement. Online Ordering Requests for delivery can be received via many different means. We operate phone, fax, email and online facilities with multiple formats for the call-off and are capable of receiving orders via EDI if required. ✔
- 9. QC & QA / Corporate Responsibility & Ethical Trading QC & QA Monro operate a robust policy of assurance and control of quality. With an independent team of specialists in quality control based in Shenzhen China we undertake numerous assessments of both our partner facilities and the products they produce for us. This helps us to ensure adherence to quality during all aspects of production. In addition, and to ensure compliance prior to the consignments departing from us, we undertake a final QA check to ensure compliance. We work closely with SGS and Intertek within the UK and globally to support our testing regime. Both SGS & Intertek help to ensure our testing methods remain robust and are able to supply independent assessments as required. Corporate Responsibility & Ethical Trading Being one of the leading suppliers to such global brands as Nike, Monro operates robust CR and Ethical trading programmes. Ensuring we have a dedicated, healthy and happy workforce that remains motivated is paramount. Our aim is not to just comply with the minimum standards of CR, but to deliver constant improvement for our people, as they help us deliver outstanding results for our customers. Monro are committed to innovation and technology that will help to reduce the amount of energy consumed to produce, package and deliver. - 10. Sourcing, Storage & Design Sourcing With over 25 years of global sourcing expertise we have developed a network of supply partners with the capabilities of producing a wide range of products. We operate a robust purchasing system and regularly inspect our partners’units to ensure compliance to local and international conventions. Storage & distribution From our wholly owned facility in the heart of the UK we are able to store, pick, pack and distribute to your requirements. Our account management team help maintain stock levels to support your ongoing requirements and our experience in maintaining stock flow keeps you in control. We can deliver to any global location any specified quantity using one of our selected partners, tracking it all of the way. Many of our clients enjoy the benefits of our Direct to Store (DTS) service with the advantage of stock management, retail store space and cash flow this service brings. Design From a rough sketch to a detailed brief, our in house design team, supported by our external creative partners, can help convert your concept into a workable, printable form of packaging. From simple layout sheets through to detailed 4D CAD product representations, our in house design team are there to help you realise your product. We actively work with our suppliers to develop new ideas that can offer originality and function as well as sustainability.
