This document discusses Royal Holloway University of London's plans for migrating to Moodle 2 and improving support for users. It notes that Moodle use currently varies greatly across departments. The migration must be completed quickly. The current support model relies heavily on one-to-one support but has limited resources. The university's goals for September include effectively supporting all Moodle users, providing targeted rather than generic help, and leveraging new Moodle functionality. Options discussed for achieving this with current resources include improved communications, encouraging departmental champions, and offering varied training methods like drop-in sessions. The proposed new support model incorporates these blended approaches.
