It allows you to: • Define the relationship between sites • Enforce a common base structure and common content across multiple sites • Maximize reusability of content • Control when updates occur The relationship can be at a broad or a granular level.

Multi Site Manager Tools and Terminology Blueprint A site (set of pages) defined as a Blueprint Pages are cloned from a different site(s) Live Copy A site cloned/generated from a Blueprint or from another site Language Copy A copy of an existing site that is to be translated to another language Inheritance The relationship between the source and the new content Rollouts and Rollout Configurations Rules and events for synchronizing content

What is a Live Copy You can create a Live Copy from: A Blueprint (Create > Site) An existing site or page (Create > Live Copy) In both cases, you will have inheritance and rollout configurations.
