Mule Concur Connector

The Concur connector allows integration between Mule and the Concur SaaS platform from SAP via SOAP API calls. It requires a Concur developer sandbox account to obtain API keys and credentials. The connector configuration in Mule requires the sandbox credentials and API keys to authenticate and connect to Concur to perform operations over SOAP.

- 2. WHAT IS CONCUR CONNECTOR? • The Concur connector is a closed-source connector that provides a connection between Mule and third-party SaaS from SAP, called Concur. It implements SOAP calls to different API versions, depending on the Concur API.
- 3. PRE-REQUISITES • In order to run the connector and build the demo applications you need the following: • Developer Sandbox or other valid Concur account. • Anypoint Studio
- 4. CREATE CONCUR DEVELOPER SANDBOX ACCOUNT (CONT.) • Create an account on https://developer.concur.com/register. When you create a Sandbox for the first time, you will be run through the Setup Wizard to configure your instance of Concur to meet your specific requirements. There are some specific requirements to ensure that all the APIs provided with this Connector work correctly: • Any expenses you want to use when submitting Expense Reports MUST have Expense Codes configured. • The user that you use to configure the Connector’s Credentials must have a manager, who is configured to Approve Expenses, if you want to be able to submit Expense Reports • Log into https://www.concursolutions.com using your newly created account (or your previously existing Concur account if you are not using a developer sandbox). • In the Concur Dashboard, choose the Administration menu, and then "Web Services"
- 5. CREATE CONCUR DEVELOPER SANDBOX ACCOUNT • Choose "Register Partner Application" • Choose New and provide a name and description. Make sure the partner application is set to "Active", and tick the APIs you want to enable access to. It is important that you have enabled access for the APIs you want to use. In this case, we will select them all. Note down the Key andSecret values and select OK

MULE CONCUR CONNECTOR – CONFIGURATION WIZARD (GENERAL TAB) • Following are the options on general tab – • Display Name – The name of the component to be displayed in Mule flow. • Connector Configuration – Reference to the global connector configuration. • Operation – The operation to be executed on server.

MULE CONCUR CONNECTOR – CONNECTOR CONFIGURATION WIZARD (GENERAL TAB) • Following are the options on general tab – • Name – The name of the connector configuration. • Username – Username provided for concur account. • Password – Password for the entered Username. • Consumer Key – Consumer key provided by Concur. • API URL – The URL of the server on which operation is to be performed.
