- 8. 8Department for Work & Pensions What does the future look like? • In April 2016 DWP moves its Internal Investigations function to the Government Internal Audit Agency (GIAA) • create an expert domain for internal fraud • co-ordinate the alignment of policies and procedures • Build on DWP’s mature model for internal investigations
