Food Log Report From Diet Plus
In my food log, I tracked my food and liquid consumption for five days in a row. I thought this was
interesting process, but I kinda of liked it. At some points of the process I thought it was kinda of
difficult to remember to log the food I ate on the computer. But, ultimately I thought it was worth it
because I got to see all the macro and micro nutrients I consumed which is something I don t always
get to see.
I would saw that my consumption of kcals were around the same range. Out of the five days I tracked
my intake, I ranged around 1,000 kcals a day. I guess you could say that I don t really a good variety
of foods in my diet, so I would definitely change that by adding more fruits and vegetables. I also
would make the change of eating a little bit more food, because I think only 1,000 kcals a day is a
little less. I think I will try to bum it up to 1,500 or 1533 which is my recommended DRI.
Looking at the combination report, it was in all the appropriate ranges from the AMDR range. I
consumed 47% percent of carbs, 24% of protein and 30 percent of fats. The benefit of being in the

Unlike society a few decades before, the life expectancy has increased and now America is seeing an
exponential growth to the elderly population. There are many factors that could be the cause of this.
Looking at the demographic transition theory in conjunction with the Malthusian theory brought
valuable insight for me. The demographic theory says there are four stages to population growth that
are predictable. Those who are in their late 80 s and above were capable of seeing all four of these
stages in America. As they aged and the stages for population advanced so did technology. Malthusian
theory claims that there are three factors that prevents the human population exceed its carrying
capacity, which are food, disease, and war. Those who lived through the four stages of America were

Milton Freidman and Rose Freidman were two economists who met in Chicago, were married in

any government regulation was an infringement on individual freedom. Freidman and Freidman s
minor thesis is that the government in a free society should be entirely limited to the following areas:
enforcing law and order, preventing coercion of one individual by another, enforcing legally binding
contracts and rights of private property owners, and providing resources for the defense and the
monetary system. They construct their assertion of government regulation being an infringement on
individual rights by generously providing a multitude of arguments in favor of their political view.
They commence by first stating that economic freedom, the freedom consumers possess to buy and

to alter it is to place a curb on freedom. For example, if the government comes to a decision to pass a
