Penang – Pearl Of Orient  ペナン Penang state is today the third-largest economy amongst the states of Malaysia, after Selangor and Johor. Manufacturing is the most important component of the Penang economy, contributing 45.9% of the State's GDP. Penang Port  Location & Accessibility The  Port of Penang  is an international seaport located strategically in the Straits of Malacca. Penang Port is offering a variety of facilities and modern equipment to handle containers, liquid bulk cargo, dry bulk cargo and general cargo. The port is connected by a good network of road and rail to its hinterland via the North-South Expressway from the MY-Thailand border to the MY-Singapore border. A 2.5km railway track links the North Butterworth Container Terminal to the Butterworth railway station. The Bayan Lepas airport is only 40km away from the port and can be reached within 30 minutes.

Kuala Lumpur  クアラルンプール Kuala Lumpur  is the capital and largest city of Malaysia. The city proper, making up an area of 244 km 2  (94 sq mi), has an estimated population of 1.6 million in 2006. Greater Kuala Lumpur, also known as the Klang Valley, is an urban agglomeration of 7.2 million. It is the fastest growing metropolitan region in the country, in terms of population as well as economy. The city remains as the economic and business center of the country. In fact, the city is a center for finance, insurance, real estate, media and the arts of Malaysia. The infrastructure development in the surrounding areas such as the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the creation of the Multimedia Super Corridor and the expansion of Port Klang further reinforce the economic significance of the city.
North Port  Location & Accessibility Northport  is strategically located midway on the West Coast of Peninsular Malaysia overlooking the world's busiest waterway, the Straits of Malacca.  It is in the Free Commercial Zone of Port Klang, in the state of Selangor. It is further complemented by Malaysia's premier business township, the Klang Valley and is only 60 kilometers away from the federal capital, Kuala Lumpur. Its contiguity to the fastest growing commercial and industrial regions centered along the west coast corridor, such as Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya, Nilai, Senawang and the rest of hinterland within the Peninsular ensures Northport's pivotal role in Malaysia's economic development.

Northport  Container Handling Facilities
Westports  Location & Accessibility Westports strategically located along the Straits of Malacca. Westports is not only a leading port in South East Asia, but also one of the top 5 Ports in the world in terms of productivity.  Container throughput at Westports has increased from 2.6 million TEUs in 2004 to nearly 5 million TEUs in 2008. Westports commands 62 per cent share of the container volume in Port Klang. With current total quay length measuring 3.2 kilometers, which includes 5 container terminals, and a potential to build another 4 container terminals that would give Westports a capacity of 15 million TEUs
Westports Container Handling Facilities The port has nine berths for contains which extends as long 2.6 kilometers. The terminal has a capacity of 6 million TEUs per year which sits on a 220-acre (0.89 km 2 ) site. The port has 26 Super Post Panamax Quay Cranes where six of them have twin lift capabilities. 69 Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes plow the terminal to help move the containers around.

Johor  ジョホール Johor  is located in the southern portion of Peninsular Malaysia.  Johor is linked to Singapore via two road connections: the Johor-Singapore Causeway and the Malaysia-Singapore 2 nd  Link.  The Iskandar, Johor ( also known as Iskandar Development Region and South Johor Economic Region ), encompassing Johor Bahru, Johor Bahru Tengah, Kulaijaya, Pasir Gudang and Nusajaya is a major development zone in Johor. At 2215 km², it is two-and-a-half times bigger than Singapore and 48 times the size of Putrajaya. It is intended to draw investment and business to Johor and will be among the biggest development projects in Malaysia.
Distance Between Johor Port and Port Of Tanjung Pelepas
Johor Port  Location & Accessibility Johor Port  is located at Pasir Gudang in the southwest of Johor in Peninsular Malaysia. It is the first port in Johor and is designed as a multi-purpose port that caters to practically all types of cargo.  Johor Port is the first port in Malaysia to be located within a free trade zone. Johor Port's warehouses are exempted from customs duties. Duty is only payable when the cargo is released from the warehouse area for local consumption.
Johor Port  Container Handling Facilities With 5,500 ground slots and an annual capacity of 1,000,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU), the terminal's equipment and facilities include: 7 gantry cranes, 5 of which are Post-Panamax; 19 rubber-tyred transfer cranes; 4 reach stackers; 46 prime movers; Dedicated rail depot connected to nationwide rail network, Singapore and Thailand; 70,000 sq. meters of warehouse space for containerized cargo.
Port Of Tanjung Pelepas Location & Accessibility The  Port of Tanjung Pelepas  is a port for container ships located on the eastern mouth of the Pulai River in south-western Johor, Malaysia.  Receiving its maiden vessel on 10 October 1999 on a three-month trial operation, it set a world record as the fastest growing port with 1 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) of containers handled after 571 days of operations.
Port Of Tanjung Pelepas Container Handling Facilities The current port offers 10 berths totaling 3.6 km of linear wharf length, and a 1.2 million square meters container yard which have over 156,000 TEU in storage space. The berths are serviced by 27 Super Post-Panamax quay cranes, 13 of which have a 22 box outreach and twin lift. The total capacity of the port today is over 8 million TEU per year. 77 rubber tyred gantry cranes operate around the container facility. The port has a naturally deep harbor with a draft of 15 - 19 meters, and its turning basin of 600 meters allows for ships of any size to turn easily.
