- 9. BASAJAUN Basajaun is a human being with lot of hair. It´s very hairy and his arms and feet are very big. It is a huge hairy creature forest dweller that protects herds of cattle, he teaches farmers to cultivate and shape the metal. It lives in Basque forests. Basajaun means "wild sir" and "lord of the jungle". When a storm is coming he gives a shout to warn shepherds withdraw their livestock. It also prevents when the wolf approaches.
