nanoHUB.org is an online cyberinfrastructure for nanotechnology research and education that provides access to over 50 simulation tools through a web browser. It was created by the Network for Computational Nanotechnology in 2004 and allows scientists to run simulations without downloading any software by defining the interface and inputs/outputs using XML. The site sees strong growth with over 2.5 million hits and 226,899 simulation jobs run last month alone by its 26,196 registered users, including students and faculty from over 50 of the top engineering schools worldwide.
