Narrative Of The Captivity
- 1. Narrative of the Captivity By: Kathryn H, Derek F, Joey B
- 2. Mary Rowlandson is captured by Native Americans. Her youngest child dies within a few weeks of their capture.
- 3. Once they arrived to the tribe, Mary works for the them, by picking berries, sewing and other chores.
- 4. Mary is allowed to leave so she travels to see her son. She gets lost and returns to the tribe only to have her master help her find her way. Later she meets up with her son.
- 5. One of the girls in the tribe offers her a portion of her bear meat. Mary goes back to the tribe, she works for another Native American in trade for food.
- 6. With all the food that she had gathered, she made a wonderful meal for her master and his wife.
