This document proposes a blockchain-powered solution for landslide and disaster management. It describes some of the problems with current relief systems like a lack of transparency and coordination between different organizations. The blockchain solution would allow independent relief groups to collaborate on a decentralized network without a single controlling party. Key features would include the ability to directly collaborate on processes, an offline alert system, privacy, and using smart contracts to handle insurance claims and payments. The proposed architecture involves users, application services, a blockchain and IPFS database, IOT devices, and microservices.
