This document summarizes a study on nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) conducted at a Nigerian tertiary hospital. The study found that NPC accounted for 8.33% of head and neck cancers seen over 14 years. Most patients were male, with a mean age of 54.5 years. The most common presentations were neck swelling, nasal obstruction, and epistaxis. 75% of patients presented with late stage 4 disease. Treatment was primarily radiotherapy, but 46.88% of patients defaulted treatment due to financial constraints.
