Introduction to Project Concept
Why national project?
1. United Impact (it is easier to):
- Increase awareness of the issue
- Find partners (learning, media, financial, in-kind
etc)
2. Creates collaborative environment (opportunity
to learn from each other)
When were national
projects created?
December 2013
by Anastasiia Isakii (MCVP iGCDP Indonesia 13-14)
How did we create them?
Global data analyzes
Local data analyses
Member Committee, Local Committee
discussion
Supervisor group discussion
How did we create them?
by using social impact model
“The Social Impact Model articulates your
organization’s hypothesis about the best
way to address your target social problem
as well as your actions to test and measure
that hypothesis”

Editor's Notes

  • #13: You can see that this issue is relevant in Indonesia (constant growth of waste). Main contributor is household (48%), so it can be under our control. Also here you can see our focus for: organic waste, but also specially for plastic and paper that has constant growth. http://www.uncrd.or.jp/env/3r_02/presentations/BG2/RT2_03_Indonesia.pdf
  • #14: Our main LCs are situated in Sumatera and Jawa and this is islands that have mainly this issue. http://inswa.or.id/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Indonesian-Domestic-Solid-Waste-Statistics-20082.pdf
  • #16: But from this slide you can see that smoking is one of the biggest issues in country
  • #17: Our focus is not female
  • #18: Proof of relevance and importance for people to eat proper food and excercising
