This paper presents a new routing protocol, RAODV, designed to improve security in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) by detecting malicious nodes. The performance of RAODV was evaluated against existing protocols AODV and MAODV using various metrics such as packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay, and throughput through simulations. Results indicate that RAODV outperforms the others in terms of security and reliability, especially as network size and node mobility increase.
