Three transnational project meetings were held in Ankara, Turkey, Lisbon, Portugal, and Bled, Slovenia to discuss the strategy, tasks and results of the Toureng project. The first newsletter introduces the Toureng project, which aims to improve the use of English in tourism organizations through training workshops, learning materials on an online platform, and meetings to contribute to a more modern and professional work environment. As part of the project, 20 participants attended a training workshop in Regensburg, Germany where they worked collaboratively on topics like video making and learning program development.

- 1. NEWSLETTER MEETINGS Three transnational project meetings where held during this phase, In Ancara, Turkey, In Lisbon, Portugal, and in Bled, Slovenia. In these meetings where discussed the strategy, tasks and results intended for the project. WELCOME Welcome to the first Newsletter of the Toureng project. In this space we want to let you know the project, its intellectual outputs, training, multiplyer events, and transnational meetings. The project wants to improve the use of English in Tourism Organizations, contributing to “a more modern, dynamic, committed and professional environment inside the organization. TRAINING IN REGENSBURG As part ofthe project 20 participants wentto Regensburg in Germany to attend a Training Workshop Week. In a collaborative and interactive way, the participants dealt with topics like Media Competency: making a video, software for editing, making a learning program,among others.
