Semua orang bisa mungkin mempunyai pengertian yang berbeda2 IOT adalah suatu ide konsep dimana semua peralatan kebutuhan kita sehari-hari terhubung dengan Internet. Kemajuan dan perkembangan Internet sudah memberikan perubahan yang sangat mendasar dari kita dalam melakukan kehidupan sehari-hari sekarang ini Internet yang pada awalnya dipergunakan untuk menghubungkan antara komputer-komputer yang besar, berkembang dengan menghubungkan desktop2 dan personal komputer di kantor2, malah sekarang2 ini Internet menghubungkan begitu banyak smart phone Di era IOT, Internet akan menghubugkan dengan peralatan2 kebutuhan kita sehari2 tanpa terkecuali. Jadi kita bisa bayangkan betapa komplex dan besarnya Internet di era IOT Teknologi ini akan membuat perubahan yang sangat mendasar bagaimana kita menjalankan kehidupan dan lebih penting lagi teknologi ini merupakan technologi yang dapat menciptakan inovasi disruptive While the term β€œInternet of Things” is relatively new, the concept of combining computers and networks to monitor and control devices has been around for decades.   • #11: Mari kita lihat apa yang terjadi setelah SDN melakukan transformasi di IP Network - Adanya pemisahan Data Plane dan Control Plane - Fungsi inteligence controller dapat di virtualize - Networking appliance dapat mempergunakan comodity hardware In a classical router or switch architecture, the packet forwarding (data path) and the high level routing decisions (control path) occur on the same device. The routing protocol engine programs forwarding decisions on the local device, i.e. router, using OSPF or BGP. In SDN, there is a separation of control and forwarding planes. The data path portion still resides on the switch, while high-level routing decisions are moved to a separate controller, typically a standard server. The controller uses the OpenFlow protocol to program the forwarding decisions into the switches.
