Patric Lanhed is a creative technologist at DigitasLBi who is interested in NFC power and applications. While Apple has not exposed their NFC API, Android offers some options for NFC tools through the Google Play Store, including NFC TagWriter by NXP. Potential use cases for NFC include storing contact information, medical emergency data, unlocking computers and devices, electronic payments, and authentication. Videos demonstrate using an NFC implant to read a contact, act as a medical ID, unlock a computer, and make a biological payment in Bitcoin.
