An interview is a two-way exchange, a conversation, in which both participants have some goals.

Body Language – Its importance in an interview
Body language plays an important role in an interview to :
Gauge the personality of the candidate
Determine the suitability of the candidate to fit the role of job in the organization.

  • #6: Some of the scenes that are witnessed at the lobby outside the interview room are to be strictly avoided as the body language and conducting of oneself is considered while choosing a candidate in an interview. These body languages show the negative attitude.
  • #8: The facial gestures of a candidate plays an important role in the selection process in an interview. It depicts the personality and mental frame.
  • #9: The postures shown at the waiting area are vital as it is often marked by HR team to select a candidate.
  • #10: Alert, attentive , sitting upright yet relaxed posture is required by a candidate. It shows confidence and sincerity towards the job.
  • #13: Picture A depicts arrogance while Picture B shows adherence to workplace etiquette.
