Executing the Maritime Strategy
Today, 42 to 45 percent of our fleet is routinely forward deployed. We are a Navy hard at work. Our Sailors and civilian
workforce continue to excel in all that we ask of them, and if history is any indication of the future, it will be our Navy which
will continue to provide global presence, ensure global access, and deliver decisive and credible combat power around the
                                            globe wherever and whenever needed.
                                                                        - Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces, Adm. John C. Harvey, Jr.
