                   Simpsonville, SC 29681
Enabling New Features

All the features in the backend are available now. You will not
see any of these features on your published map until you go
in and republish your existing map. This is especially important
for the new mobile features and deep linking.
Hover Over Numbering Removal

You now have the ability to remove the numbering
of stops in the hover over display.

Depending on the Stop Markers you use it might not
make sense to have this numbering and now you can
     remove it.
Hover Over Numbering Removal

In your map go to “Map Settings” and
from there go to the “Display” tab and
make sure the “Hide # in Tooltip” box
is unchecked to not show the
numbers. Going forward unchecked
will be the default behavior for new
maps.
Deep-linking - Stops

When editing a stop in the
                 “Setup Markers” window go
to the “Misc.” tab and you
will be given the deep link
                 parameter for that stop.

This is used to append to the
end of the map URL to link
                 directly to that stop.
Deep-linking - Layer

If you view the “Map Legend” in the backend
and go to “Layers” you will notice arrows next
to each layer. Click on the “Get Deep Link”
pop-out in order to display this small window
that provides the deep link parameter.

This is used to append to the end of the map
URL to link directly to that stop.
Define a default layer configuration

You can also define default layer
configuration by going to “Map Settings”
and choosing the “Layers” tab. From here
you can select the layers that you would
like to be shown and those hidden in your
default embed scenario.
Mobile Gallery

You do not need to do anything besides
republish your mobile map for this feature
       to be enabled.
Mobile Video & Audio

             Mobile has a section for
             Multimedia and supports YouTube
and Vimeo. Audio allows viewers to
download the audio file (.mp3 or
.wma). We are working on a 2.3.1
release for a mobile audio player
             built using jPlayer.
             http://jplayer.org/
Toolset Options

You can now choose from one of 17 different
colors for the Map Toolset by going to “Update
Map Settings”, viewing the “Map Layout (2)” tab
and selecting “Select Toolset”. This will allow you
to set the zoom, pan and legend color.
Mapping with Google

When editing a stop in the “Setup Markers” window go to the “Misc.” tab and you will also
see new options to include the Address or Latitude and Longitude for a stop. This will add a
line to the end of your Description to allow visitors to “Map with Google Maps” the location.
This opens in a new window Google Maps search for the Address or Lat/Long. On a mobile
device that detects Google Maps installed it will ask you to open this directly in the app to
provide the visitor with directions.

Note: If you include both the address and lat/long then lat/long overrides address in
Google’s search.
Quick Wins – Video Embed

                Ability to edit a video
                embed after uploading
                You no longer need to
                delete the embed and start
                all over you.
Quick Wins – Media Editing

                   Ability to edit an image
                   directly from a stop
You can now edit the title,
                   description and tags for an
                   image right from the
                   multimedia tab where you
                   edit a stop.
Quick Wins – Image Gallery Scrolling

                            Before
                                                          Now

Improvements to Image Gallery Scrolling
On the Original and Multimedia Focus stop styles we changed the scroll bar
from vertical to horizontal.
Quick Wins – Adding Media Default

                      Adding multimedia defaults
                      to image
When you edit a stop we
                      realize that everyone has
                      images but they might not
                      always have other multimedia,
so we made image the default
                      option. This will hopefully
                      reduce some extra clicks for
                      you.
Quick Wins – Icons
        Marker/Image UI selection enhancements
Many people don't know that besides Stop
"Markers" you can also have "Icons“ which are
simply an icon on the map but it's not actually
clickable into a stop. We made this more
apparent in the UI by bringing it to the top
        and making it orange.

Icons do show up in the legend as markers do.
Icons can also be added to layers and
therefore can be turned on and off through
        layer controls.

Icons are great for parking lots, public safety
phones, ATMs or any other element that isn't
worth a full stop but you want to visually tell
        visitors that it is there.
Feature Request

Have a feature that you want to see us
build? Tell us through the Feature
Request link in the top navigation. This
takes you to our UserVoice page. We
listen, we build and we love a challenge.
The Facebook App

             If you haven’t already talked
             with us about taking
             advantage of our Facebook
app then please reach out to
us. We have made it really
             easy to embed your
             interactive map in Facebook
             and it even supports the
ability to have a header and
             footer wrapper so you can
             include your branding and
             your own call to action
             buttons.
