- 3. Let’s do some examples: Example A: 12 is not a palindrome………………… BUT with a little addition 12 can be transformed into a palindrome. 1 2 reverse the digits 2 1 then add 12 becomes a palindrome after one step so we say it is a 1-step palindrome 3 3
