Imagine you open your mailbox and inside is a big thick envelope addressed to you, when you open it there is a picture of a cake with Louisiana Classic Cakeoff on it. You are very excited, but wait you live in Texas, how do you get there. Like most companies this one has enclosed a map. And this map like most others, has just provided you with a sense of assurance Why?
- 3. Why? Most likely it is because you can read a map. You know based on the map where your destination is and how you will get there. Just as a map can help in everyday situations an understanding of geography can help us in history.
- 4. Understanding Maps, Tables, and Graphs Maps come in different sizes, colors, and shapes The first thing to understand though is the Latitude and Longitude lines
