Occupational Science - Occupational Identity

- 2. Daughter I view being a daughter as an important part of my occupational identity. As they have contributed to who I am today. Helped me do, be and become.
- 3. Being a sister This is an important part of my occupational identity. My brothers and I have been involved with several occupations together over the years and have contributed to who I am today they have let me do, be and become with their support.
- 4. Friends My friends are an important part of my identity, as I spend most of my time with them. I have friends all over the world who I keep in contact with and who I view as important because if I did not have them I would not be who I am at the moment. We engage in multiple occupations such as socializing, partying, movies and study.
- 5. Flat mate I have the role of being a flat mate there are routines of being a flat mate which are important such as cooking and cleaning. An opportunity to be independent.
- 6. Travel I consider the occupation of travel contributes to my occupational identity, as it let me gain experiences in lots of different occupations and make new friends around the world.
- 7. Waimakariri River I consider this location as being a part of my occupational identity since in my past this is where a lot of occupations would take place for example: family picnics, locals meeting to go for swims, building sand castles, mud fights and parties this is a social place. This place has made me more adventurous.

Soccer I view soccer as a big part of my occupational identity as it is an occupation I have been involved with throughout my life if I was not performing it, I was watching my three brothers involvement in the occupation or watching it on the television. - 9. Movies I see my occupational engagement with watching movies a element of my occupational identity as I engage in this as a relaxation method and I count this as one of my leisure activities.
- 10. Otago Polytechnic I view Otago polytechnic as part of my occupational identity as this place allows me to study occupational therapy and allows me to become and be who I want to. Facilitate independence.
- 11. Student I see being a student as part of my occupational identity as I have been a student for a good amount of my life at West Eyreton School, Rangiora High and now Otago Polytechnic.
