Personal Space Project: Do an experiment that purposefully invades someone's personal space. Take notes on how you violate space, the reactions to it and be prepared to present it in class on Thursday. You should also post a short report of your experience to your blog. Examples: hug someone you don’t know, strike up lengthy and random conversation in the elevator

Stories you read In groups of 3 to 4 share the stories your read about. Come up with some conclusions about personal space and the specific group of people or culture involved. Be prepared to share your results with the class. In your groups discuss the importance of personal space

Personal Space Project Reports In 5 minutes, report on your personal space project to the class On the handout, write down the student’s name, a brief description of the project, how personal space was violated, the reaction, and at the end we’ll vote on the more interesting one!
