For years we have watched large commercial education software companies continue to provide poor software that is proprietary and horribly expensive to a market that has little budget and few choices. We have been witness to botched and failed implementations that waste precious education budget dollars that should be going to the classroom and student instruction. And we have decided to change all of that starting right now. How? By providing quality alternatives to commercial software that are economical, easy to use and completely open. We are giving our clients freedom and control over their software solutions. • We have big dreams, a lot of passion about what we do and the personal willpower to get it done. We aren’t working for venture capitalists or angel investors. We are working for the good of education and more specifically, we are working for you, the individual educator. We intend to change the business model of administrative education software and force the large commercial companies to change with us. And in doing so, education wins and most importantly, students win and that keeps us here day in and day out working for you.

- 4. OUR TEAM • Bob is Bob Ghosh - Founder and Chief Executive Officer Bob is a serial entrepreneur and is also the CEO of Methodologic, LLC, a software engineering and consulting company. He has significant experience in business strategy, enterprise architecture/application planning and general business management. Bob's professional experience include working/consulting for clients like Travelers, Coca- Cola, Wal-Mart, Verizon, Capital One, Bio Horizons, Engersoll Rand, NCP Solutions, Compworx, Risk Mitigation Systems, to name a few. • Casey Adams - Founder & Advisor • Casey is a former IBM Education Solutions Executive and have worked with schools and districts all across the country. He is active with major national education policy groups and maintains key relationships across the education landscape. Prior to IBM, he was a teacher, technology coordinator and network administrator.

Need something not included in the base installation? Use our custom categories and fields that allow you to easily create any number of custom fields to capture your specific data needs. Contact Information Easily add contact information for parents, relatives and authorized individuals. Designate legal guardian, bus stops and associate parents with students enabling automatic access to the openSIS parent portal. Scheduling openSIS includes a scheduler that allows you to easily input student requests and mass schedule students. - 6. Gradebook The built in grade book allows teachers to enter homework assignments, class tests and any other activity using weighted scales if desired. Automatic tallying of grades, reports to find erroneously entered grades and advanced ad hoc reporting is included. Entering final grades is as easy as a mouse click. Reports/Report Designer openSIS includes numerous standard reports and the ability to design custom reports using simple check boxes. Reports are output to PDF format for easy printing and viewing.
