OpenSNH is a Swedish organization that develops open educational resources (OER) to share online. Its goals are to develop, produce, remix and share OER and online courses. OpenSNH has a website that hosts OER including videos, lectures, assignments and interactive mind maps on various themes. Metadata is added to the OER to make them more searchable and valuable. OpenSNH is exploring tools for developing massive open online courses (MOOCs) using their OER and theme pages. They analyze the accessibility of their OER and compare using OER repositories versus MOOCs for learning about a topic. OpenSNH tracks usage of their OER and aims to further develop study guides and courses with badges

Comparison MOOC and OER Repository about source criticism Critera for the comparison was the following; openness, flexibility, multimodal, remix, accessibility, time to learn content, shareable, searchable, use offline, assessment/test as a learning opportunity and possibility to create your own content/learning material or test/assessments.
