- 2. Part 1 Hi. I'm Oscar Obsidian. I'm an igneous rock that lived with the dinosaurs. I will tell you about my long life. It was a very long journey.
- 3. Part 2 I started as a metamorphic rock called Matthew Marble. One day, I was minding my own business. I was resting on the side of a majestic mountain in the shade. An enormous and fairly rude rock fell on me, and I shattered like glass into many sharp pieces.
- 4. Part 3 Clouds moved in, the sky darkened, and it was suddenly pouring icy, cold rain. I was flooded by Willy Water. Willy Water was trying to make his path to the ocean.
- 5. Part 4 Willy Water made his way down the humongous mountains. Willy Water connected to a river. The river lead me to a waterfall. I fell like an anvil dropping from the top of the Empire State Building with a big BOOM! The river led me to the ocean. I got pushed into the mantle by Plate Tectonics. It was starting to boil where I was.
- 6. Part 5 I realized I was melting. I was turning into magma, and I was renamed Marcus Magma. I was with other magma. I was rising like I was on a roller coaster. I blasted into the air. I fell to the ground.
- 7. Part 6 After one hour, I cooled off and hardened. I became Oscar Obsidian. I enjoyed my long adventure. That is my epic journey from marble to obsidian.
