This document describes the "countries - romance" OpenStreetMap community in Japan. The community organizes mapping parties in the Kansai region to discover and nurture mappers who contribute to improving OSM data in the local areas. Details are provided about past mapping parties held in various cities where participants mapped local temples, shrines, parks and historical sites. Future mapping events are planned to continue exploring the region and cultivating more mappers. The goal is to collaboratively improve OSM data quality through these community mapping activities.
