What is SharePoint
Microsoft SharePoint is the central information sharing and
collaboration platform for Microsoft office system.
Microsoft Office System is comprised of collection of
applications, servers and services that work together to:
 Improve user and team productivity.
 Make information sharing more effective.
 Facilitate business decision-making processes.

 A list is a collection of information that is shared with team members.
 Web Parts
 A customizable, reusable component used to display specific
information on a dashboard. They are “building blocks” of WSS.
 Really Simple Syndication (RSS)
 It is a Web feed format used to publish frequently updated works in a
standardized format.
