During her time in the NHS, she mainly worked in NHS Borders, Newcastle Freeman Hospital, Newcastle Primary Care Trust, and Northumberland Care Trust developing a passion for training. She gained a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice Nursing and a Postgraduate Certificate in Coaching. With her substantial clinical and operational experience and skills in mentoring training and lecturing, Annie is able to bring an invaluable insight into all areas of healthcare. Her range of skills and interests are reflected in the organisations she is affiliated to. These include: OCN Credit4 Learning, Royal College of Nursing (RCN), Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), Kings Fund, Nursing Midwifery Council, Nurse Practitioner Network (NPUK), United Kingdom Trade and Investment (UKTI), Case Management Society (CMSUK), British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM), Federation of Small Businesses(FSB) and the Institute of Directors (IOD). Annie was the clinical lead for the Department of Health Integrated Cancer Care Programme, which was published in 2007. Annie Barr has a broad range of knowledge of the healthcare system in the UK and the contemporary issues facing the NHS currently. Annie Barr Associates have won many awards for export and entrepreneurial actives in the UK. Annie is now also on the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) North Faculty Board. Sarah Jones BSc Hons DipHE RN FRSPH Sarah is a registered nurse. After qualifying in 2004, Sarah worked in a variety of primary care settings in North London including urgent care, district and practice nursing. Sarah’s areas of interest included wound managements, asthma care and travel health. In 2007 Sarah was accepted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health. Sarah then moved into Occupational Health and has specialised in this field. In 2012 Sarah was invited to be the Medical Service Manager for the Olympic and Paralympic ceremonies. In this role Sarah contributed to the successful delivery of all opening and closing ceremonies which was an exciting and challenging experience. Sarah has a Diploma in Adult Nursing, a BSc(Hons) in Clinical Nursing and is currently studying to be a Specialist Public Health Nurse in Occupational Health.
