P3 - data flow
CONTROL BUS:
• This is where we control
how we save and how
we open our documents
up. This controls how,
where and why we
install our documents
and our apps. This tells
the other busses what
to do.
DATA BUS:
• The data bus allows us
transfer our work to
different places.
ADDRESS BUS:
• The address bus lets you
locate the work where
you have recently saved
it.
• It’s like a post code,
you put it into your
satnav and it will take
you there.
OUTPUT PORT:
• When the data is saved,
you are able to send it
to such output devices
such as, printers, USB
device, monitors and
others.
INPUT PORT:
• An input device is any
peripheral used to
provide data and control
signals to an information
processing system. Some
examples of output
devices include
keyboards, mice and
joysticks.
MICROPROCESSOR:
• A microprocessor is the
heart of a computer on a
microchip. Microprocessor are
therefore the engine of all
computers and computer –
controlled devices. They are
controlled by programs,
which are lists of simple
instructions.
