The PARADIGM project aims to strengthen patient engagement in medicines research and development through three pillars: patient education and training, guidance on engagement, and sustainability. The objectives are to understand stakeholder needs and expectations, develop a sustainability roadmap for patient engagement, ensure synergies with other initiatives, establish metrics to measure engagement impact, and strengthen systems for engagement. The work will focus on adoption of engagement practices, building engagement capabilities and identifying resource needs, and developing engagement resources. The timeline outlines three open forums over 30 months to discuss expectations, metrics, sustainability, and the engagement toolbox.
