YouTube was used extensively to research ideas, techniques, and tutorials for editing an opening thriller sequence. The Art of the Title Sequence website also provided examples of title designs and editing styles from movies. A Flip camera was used to record planning discussions and capture storyboards. Final Cut Express software allowed precise editing and effects to be added. GarageBand was used to create background music, though preset sounds were limited. A Canon HD camera captured footage, and dollies and tripods were used to get smooth shots. LiveType created title sequences, but font options were limited. During and after production, team members blogged about progress and techniques. Feedback on the final project was positive.
