- 2. First Snapshot of my Google+ PLN • May 9, 2014 • I have 0 followers and 0 views • Google+ was kind and did not remind me….
- 3. Steve P. Brady • I began following Mr. Brady after I noticed he made a post about information on finding your first teaching position. • He provided an excellent example of a resume that I can use when I start job hunting in the fall • I thanked him for his posting and he wrote me back offering assistance in the future. • He regularly posts to both `teachers helping teachers` and `elementary school teachers`

Teachers Helping Teachers • Teachers Helping Teachers is a community I found within Google+ that will be very helpful once I find myself a teaching position. • In this community teachers can share lessons, ideas and ways of teaching that other teachers can comment and add to. • One educator I found quite knowledgeable in this community was Bethany Petty who makes regular posts about education content and resources

Ed Tech Review • I find that this organization is both useful now and when I will be working as a teacher. • After reviewing the posts I noticed that they provide some comprehensive reviews about the quality tech that can be used in the classroom. • This is extremely important for me as a pre service teacher because I know there is lots of tech out there but I don’t have a full understanding of what tech is the best
- 6. A snapshot of my Google+ PLN • June 10, 2014 • I have gained a few followers and had over 250+ views
- 7. PLN Participation • Over the course of using my Google+ PLN I have discovered that Google+ contains information on topics in education that I didn’t even know existed • I can use the teachers, resources and endless posts as a way to benefit my educational career and help me with my daily, monthly and yearly lesson planning • I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed building my PLN. Initially I did not think I was going to use it after this class but I have found myself checking posts and skimming circles in my free time. • I have met a few individuals that use Google+ as well as added some of my old teachers to strengthen my teaching. I have commented on select posts and communicated with their creators. • Some of my favourite communities and people to follow are: • Educators on Google+, Educational Technology, Joke of the day, Google apps in education, and Teachers Helping Teachers
