From research to business: The Citywall case HIIT researchers developed the Citywall multi-touch display as a demo for an EU research project. It was very popular, generating business inquiries. Researchers then founded Multi Touch Ltd to further develop the concept. The company received funding and launched products in 2008 based on the research, including a multi-touch LCD screen and software.
