- 2. India is a land of colors, festivals and culture. We, the EUMIND team of India would like to introduce ourselves in a colorful way.
- 3. BHOOMIKA – THE LEADER Hi! My name is Bhoomika Nisar. I am 12 years old, born and brought up in the big and beautiful city of Mumbai. I study in one of the best schools in Mumbai, Queen Mary School, which has a history dating all the way back to 1875! I love my school and it is all I can think about during the holidays. I am extremely fond of books and have read most of Enid Blyton’s and Roald Dahl’s books. I am also a keen sports person. Though my favourite sport is basketball, I love table tennis and throw ball too. I also love listening to music and making friends, whom I can spend my time with. I have joined EUMIND as I hope to leave a positive impression about my country on my international friends. I want to interact with new people, increase my knowledge, broaden my mind and start thinking outside the box. I think EUMIND will give me this platform, so that I can showcase my talents.
- 4. FATEMA – THE MELODIOUS Namaste, one & all. I Fatema Mustafa Malkapurwala will tell you something about myself. I was born in Mumbai on 15th March, 2000. I am studying in Queen Mary School in Form 8. My native village is Mandasaur in Madhya Pradesh. I am a Dawoodi Bohra-Muslim by my religion, the follower of Islam. I love playing with my friends, listening to music & reading in my free time. As a sport person I am a Karate kid. I am a Black Belt holder in Karate. I had also won a Bronze medal in the World Karate Championship held in Cape Town, South Africa in October 2009. I have joined EUMIND because interacting with people sounds fun, actually it is fun. My future plan is to become a doctor specially a Cardiologist. This is myself, Fatema.
- 5. PALAK – THE BOOKWIZARD Myself Palak Sheth. I am a student of Form 7 from Queen Mary School, Mumbai, India. By nature I am an introvert but love to participate in different activities. I enjoy taking part in various cultural events especially in dance, drama, art etc. I have also successfully participated in quiz and elocution competitions at school as well as Inter-school levels. My training in courses conducted by Trinity College London has helped me in participating confidently in various events. I am a nature lover, fond of adventure sports and like to do trekking, river crossing etc. My favorite hobby is reading. Books occupy substantial space in my bedroom. Poems written by me are annually published in our school magazine. I have a number of friends in my class. I have leadership skills but I do not believe in dominating anyone. I achieve what is expected of me and Eumind will defintely add a feather in the cap.
- 6. HARSHITA – THE FUTURE NIGHTINGALE OF INDIA I am Harshita Patil and I am twelve years old .I am learning Hindustani music and I also pursue training in the field of speech and drama. Cooking channels fascinate and aspire me to try new recipes in the kitchen. I love reading books .My book collection includes horrors, mysteries, adventures, fairy tales and much more. I also like drawing, painting and craft and so I love being who I am.
- 7. Hello everybody! I am Jovita Kairanna. I study in Form 7. My hobbies are swimming and cycling. Fried rice! Oh! I cannot avoid it. I like to make dolls out of bread. To you it may sound strange but to me, it is the perfect pastime. I like to play outdoor games such as kho-kho, etc. I even like to try different hairstyles as I have a long hair. I like to take part in all the extra- curricular activities. I love to play musical instruments. I have a liking for pets too, especially puppies.
