The project was developed
based on a Piet Mondrian
Composition, to create 1:1
scale space that should
develop three activities:
exposition, observation and
relaxation spaces.
Based on this determinants a
container cube was created to
hold all the activities through
Paths, ending in the middle of
the cube, where relaxation
space was.
The walls of the cube were
used as boards for exposition
while they were being
unwrapped during the path. At
the same time this walls had
some spaces that brought 360
degrees view points, with
different heights and angles.
At the end of the interior path
was a smaller cube that raises
and lower allowing the user
get in , and giving him a
isolated space for relaxation
and concentration that only
have natural lighting on the
top.

IDEAL REFUGEE MOUNTAIN CLIMBER ……………………………………. 3
INDEX PORTFOLIO
The idea of this project was to create an ideal
refugee for an specific user, in this case the
user was a mountain climber.
The refugee location was ideal for him, because
a climber likes to be in contact with the nature
and the environment. Specially beacause this
sports are always practiced in open and natural
spaces.
The project is developed horizontally and
vertically in a linear way . Also working as a
bridge communicating to mountains.
The project is made of intersection, addition
and subtraction of horizontal and vertical
surfaces, creating appropriate spaces for the
mountain climber.
To handle natural lighting and taking advantage
of it as much as possible, bigger windows of the
project are located on east and west facades,
using flat roof shutters, so the place will have
natural lighting any time of day
The project should express something to an
extreme athlete is important, vertigo and
adrenaline, so I think the location in the middle
of the mountains and is ideal as it is situated on
a high part which gives these feelings.
The project is mainly composed of two
parallelepiped-shaped volumes, which
intersect, creating one of the fixed points. There
are also two other walls working as fixed points
and which structurally support the project

A new alternative to meet and

be with the opportunity to
practice them at the point of

In this way the architecture is
integrated with a recreational
activity.
The project consists of 2 boxes
that operate almost
independently, but are
articulated by a intermediate
level. Two structural elements
supporting and articulating at
the same time.
Overlay of two elements that
stand and integrate the rest of

Perspective
This project is a new home for the Bogota
Philharmonic Orchestra which needs to have a
scenario for their presentations, and an
administrative building. Harmony in the
project is represented with the movement of
its elements and how these areas interact with
the environment especially the natural
environment , to get great profit, the rotation
of the facades allows the project to exploit
solar incidence as a method of sustainability.
Also the interaction of users with the project
how they walk it with different speeds and
times.
A high bridge help articulating music activities
and institutional uses.
The administrative sector of the project will be
designed as an open space providing the
option to restructure the project activities.
Project Facades will be permeable and grand

Model
Communication media constitute an essential
problem of modern society, information about
products, services and points of interest in an
environment like the Zona Rosa Bogota are
important looking for a cosmopolitan
projection.
The project is the idea of an information point
as integrating space and rest where the citizen
is caught and led by a dynamic line inside,
where you will find different types of
information through media varied exhibition
likewise find complementary services , as are
the grooming and feeding.
The project is conceived as the superposition
of the partial volumes and juxtaposition of
some of these, the spaces are designed to
provide continuous, linear fashion through the
circulation and strokes. Continuity and
paramentation with neighboring buildings give
a sense of continuity and proper
implementation.
The project circulation has a cyclic path
scheme, with points of articulation in the area
of services

The project raised on the concept of
protection, due to the high pollution on this
area in different ways like visual, auditory,
olfactory.
In order to incorporate housing in this area,
in which residential rate is very low , an
edge set by commercial and institutional
uses, protecting the housing area located
in the middle of the area.
Despite having perimeter blocks as the edge
set, this occurs through the platforms, on
the first floor where public space is vital,
because block occupation is about 60% in
edge and 40 % in the central space.
In buildings that make up the edge have two
activities, commercial and institutional, in
the center and as an element that is
protected by this edge housing, which is
combined to a lesser extent on the business
in order to generate most active time in the
industry for safety.

The project , aims to generate a restructuring
in the activities that occur internally, seeking
to achieve several objectives. The primary
purpose is to give a better solution and
readjusting housing especially to deal with
natural phenomena like a Tsunami. Another
objective of the proposal is to recover public
space and green areas which will serve both to
oxygenate the area as well as a barrier to
dissipate the energy of a possible tsunami. The
creation and inclusion of institutional and
tourist facilities , seek to create a link between
the urban area and the harbor area , in order
to generate better communication between
the two areas and complementary activities
become more than two independent activities.
All these interventions are projected for
future to seek a city with more safe and
healthy environments, being sustainable , and
generating social benefits for everyone.
A pedestrian and ecological axis revitalize the
edge, and improve environmental conditions
in the area, the provision of new housing
blocks have generated a squares and meeting
places

The house is designed in order to improve the conditions and quality of life for residents of
Buenaventura , without implying change their traditions or culture. Based on these determinants ,
two types of apartments are projected with different area to cover different families objectives
families. Both apartments have a fixed area of double height, which may be extended to a second
modular floor, depending on the need of the family , so people are involved with building and
growth of this . Modular spaces are designed in a way that does not become limited the number of
people who can live in this house , if not the ability to generate the number of rooms that area
allows and meets the needs they have. In urban areas the house are arranged such that generate a
common courtyard between blocks to maintain close and constant relationship with neighbors,
their provision creates a sense of protection , and creates a space with a nice ventilation and
desolation to inhabitants .

The proposed project is a viewpoint tower which
will serve to generate a transition between the
contemporary and heritage , through an activity,
observation , activity , which varies depending on
your point of location. This tower is not static on
land, but instead It will be on a floating slab and
the crossing the lagoon , through different springs
posed to function as stations , providing an
activity and extra character as it is mobilized .
The project will be constructed from a
STRUCTURE SYSTEMS CUSTOMIZABLE system that
lets you create a transition between inside and
outside; It is a system that adapts to different
places determinants as providing answers to
climate variations and cultural differences.
Constructive conditions provide ease of transport,
ease and speed the assembly process and allows
recycling of structural and building system. All
these virtues of this contemporary building
system is applied Looking enhance environmental
consciousness and highlighting the patrimonial

The architectural program and the project is determined in a batch of
about 12,000 m 2, in which the program is developed under 4
fundamental factors, factors which likewise is a direct relationship
between them, these factors are:
Education, flexibility, functionality and the organic aspect.
For the educational aspect summarizes 3 major activities; classrooms
where the theoretical pedagogy, workshops which are in half and given
the nature of the project and the center of technological research.
As for the functional aspect, seeks to solve the function and pedagogy
under a very important design principle which is developing the
project, and is considered as an element of the courtyard which brings
student activities.
In terms of flexibility, the project raises spaces that have transformed
the character of integrating different types of activities, according to
the pedagogical system that is required at the time, this aspect is
particularly evident in the workshops which have the potential
intentional, to change the size of spaces, thus have a space for a
normal lecture room until we have an auditorium for about 150 people,
all this is achieved through removable panels where you subdivide the
space
The bioclimatic aspect, the project has a very strong aspect which was
important for the implementation of the project in the batch
determinant, and the orientation of the longest walls, volumes
containing workshops and classrooms, northbound south, so have a
natural light throughout the day, lighting that will be controlled and
appropriate for the activities performed. Similarly facades on the sides
of the circulations are very permeable in order to generate a direct
relationship of people with the vegetation found in both the near
context as viewed from allowing the halls of movement.
