- 2. ● My name is Nikolas Mclain, but i just go by Nik ● My major is in computer science ● My goals for college is to get my basics done at grayson then transfer to Texas A&M and earn a bachelor's degree from A&M
- 3. Favorite journals ● My favorite journals where 11, 17, and 28. ● 11 was one of my favorites because it was fun to do. I liked imagining myself complete my goals. It also gave me motivation to complete my goals ● 17 was good because it shhowed me what obstacles I face. It lead me to realize how many different type of obstacles i face. It also let me realize who can help with these obstacles. ● 28 was good one too. It let me open up about dilemmas I faced. It was nice to write about important values and commitments.
- 4. Favorite Assignments. ● My favorite discussions where all the ones with Professor Chew’s videos. ● All of these discussions were great because it showed me effective study methods. They showed me how to become a better student. Also they were fun to discuss with the class about his videos
- 5. Favorite week ● I really did not have a favorite week. All of the weeks in this class were about the same for me. No week in particular really stood out for me.
- 6. Leasons ● I learned new effective study methods ● I learned about obstacles I need to overcome ● I learned about how making goals in life are important.
- 7. Self assessment ● I do Not remember the exact scores for the first time i took the self assessment but i do know they are pretty average. Probably around 5 -7 . ● When I took the self assessment again. The scores are all 7 or above. ● I've learned that i need to do all my work on time. I've learned that I need to not procrastinate. I've also learned that it is key that i accept responsibilities that are thrown my way.
- 8. TypeFocus and Grayson Link ● I learned about many different career paths ● I found out I am interested in many careers i've never really thought about. ● Some careers surprised me when it recommended them to me.
- 9. Visual representation of my best life ● Graduating with a degree from TAMU ● Landing a job that I enjoys and that pays well. ● Having a lot of money. ● Having a family of my own. ● Have spare time for hobbies that i like to do.
