- 2. Title Tagline Main Image Main image is a static TV with eyes coming out of it. I feel that the eyes have not been blended in quite well and in my opinion this doesn’t give the TV a ‘supernatural’ edge; the TV is in the room where a malicious entity is and the eyes represent the entity’s hold over everyday life, as intially, I wanted the eyes to appear as a sort of reflection. However the eyes in this seem very detatched from the TV and not a part of it, which may work to my advantage as to some it may seem like the eyes are coming out of the TV. However, I will most likely try to change this so that the eyes blend better with the static TV. Billing block Release date - Coming soon - age certificate and production company. Netflix logo will need editing better as it does not resemble the way in which films on Netflix are advertised. The broad release date, ‘coming soon’ is useful for creating an audience as my poster would coincide with the trailer release and so people may be more likely to follow the film’s Actor’s names The TV seems a little lost in the dark - hard to notice the Tv cabinet and exposes a lot empty space - therefore I will be changing the photo I use so that the cabinet is more visible.

Netflix logo will need editing better as it does not resemble the way in which films on Netflix are advertised - similar to the teaser poster. The broad release date, ‘coming soon’ will need to be changed for this poster - I have decided to release the film on July 12 as this is when most people will be going on holiday/ finishing work or school. If not, this gives the audience some to look forwar to for when they do go on holliday. However, ‘coming soon’ doesn’t ensure an audience is created prior to the films release, as this poster would be released approximately . Actor’s names Main image is the model looking scared, a slight hig angle makes it seem as though the character is being ‘looked down on’. However, when using photoshop, I edited the photo of the model onto a black background by cutting out the background; this has left a very clear outline around the model. I will therefore be editing the main image so that the model seems to be moving out of the darkness. I also want the legs of the model to be less apparent so that it seems that the model has been consumed by the darkness. Complete black background - I will change this so that the background exposes more of a dirty background - although the balk is good at hinting towards horror - black connotes to evil - I feel that the stained background will help to create a threadamongst the other posters - stained background appears in the quad and so audience becomes aware that the character is most likely in the same place or situation
- 4. Main image is the model looking scared,similar to the theatrical poster, a slight high angle makes it seem as though the character is being ‘looked down on’. I did not add the armchair in the background as done in the poster sketches due to the chair not suiting and as a result, there is a lot of empty space around the model. Again, the broad release date, ‘coming soon’ will need to be changed for this poster, for similar reason to the theatrical poster. Background is a dark blue stain - I don’t feel this hints in any way to the supernatural or psychological threat the fiml may present and so will be changing the background and it’s colour to be slightly more dark and dirty looking - a similar look for the main poster’s final design.
