Posting instructions
- 1. On the top action bar select: and then Enter the title of your new post: And then add your content. You can add pictures, charts, or even embed Youtube videos. Leave the post in the pre-selected Standard Format
- 2. It is highly advisable that you give your new post some organizational meta-data. So, check what category your post belongs to from the pre-existing categories, or, create your own: Next, give it a couple tags. This will make the post easier to search later. You can choose from pre- existing tags or create your own. These tags find their way into the tag cloud on the site pages: Finally, one of the coolest features of our site is how new posts are prominently displayed on the front page slider. Be sure to add a “Featured Image” to your post. This will show up on the front page slider. If you do not select a “Featured Image” your post will be empty space on the slider:
- 3. Choose to upload your image or select from current images in the Media Library. Then at the lower right hand side of the page choose Set Featured Image. All is left is to Publish your new post. You can also save a draft if you aren’t 100% sure or need to come back later. You can also Preview your post to make sure every looks as it should.
